Monday Stand-Up

Week of Jul 27 · Gen-1 MVP
New sprint week

Announcements

TQ running stand-ups all week; Safra on PTO (week 2). InfluxDB moved to a stable Linux box — all CSAC-GUI data now lives at influx.mesaquantum.com (double-login). Sprint 2026-13 closed Friday — we need a quick review and to roll the new sprint.

This week's priorities

  1. Finalize the fab request — by Tuesday.
  2. Prepare 1 MQC-01 for external testing.
  3. Design & fab the 10 MHz adapter board — Curtis to prioritize today.
  4. Finalize MQC-02 packaging plan / early vacuum-packaging validation.

Friday recap · open risks

Sprint 2026-13 → new sprint
Board: 7 off-track / 7 at-risk

Where each priority stands

  • Fab request (P1): card designs still off-track — Compute/Analog (Nick), Physics / PPP-02 (Curtis). Lock packages → POs by Tue.
  • 1 MQC-01 for test (P2): gated by Friday's find — heater-not-heating traced to physical blade damage (ESD diode sheared / pad lifted / trace delaminated on socket insertion). Nick pulled the diode; still chasing VDAC continuity (diving-board C6 → opamp pin 3). Assembly + packaging (Brian) also off-track.
  • 10 MHz adapter board (P3): new — not yet a tracked task; Curtis owns, starting today.
  • MQC-02 packaging (P4): vacuum-packaging cluster all at-risk — chamber setup & epoxy (Curtis), copper pinch-off (Gaby), design/quote (Antonio).

Also worth raising

  • Robbie's parting analysis: MQC-02 likely must run away from the magic temperature for enough laser power → control-loop coupling. Map stability vs VCSEL temp to pick the operating point. (Notion doc)
  • Reassign Robbie's items now that he's gone → Newton/Gaby: MQC-01 System Level Test, optimized ADEV, Validate Startup (per the KT checklist).
